Letter re Company Vehicle: I just took my car to Convenience for a safety inspection and alignment. During this process, it was discovered that my tires were in need of replacement. The gentleman at Convenience took it upon themselves to run out to NVRA to get new tires and installed them. That visit was my very first to Convenience and turned out to be the finest service experience I have ever had in the 23 years I’ve owned my BMW. The diagnosis and repairs you and your shop foreman made have corrected all the steering issues I brought to you. I now have renewed confidence in the handling it delivers and find that it’s actually fun to drive again. I wanted to point out a few things I noticed: First, I actually enjoyed the experience of meeting you and your team and talking through the issues I was having with my car. I felt a sincere caring from everyone for me as the customer and my car as the focus of our collective attention. You were welcoming in bring me back into the shop to point out the things they found, and freely discussed them with me so that I understood cause and effect. That helped me make informed decisions. Next, the protocol your shop follows when performing service and repair is above anything I’ve ever experienced. Things like cleaning the inside of my wheels before applying weights to balance them, for example, says it all. You and your team care and demonstrate that concern in ways that signal you’re attending to “my” car as if it were “your own”. And finally, your facilities, both out front and in the shop are immaculate and comfortable. With phone in ear and service tickets in front of you, you asked me if the coffee was hot enough, and followed that with an offer to make another pot right away if it weren’t. And I know you meant that. At 8pm that evening after you came back from T-Ball with your kid to learn that your mechanic wasn’t happy with the way my car was steering and didn’t want to turn it over to me as having been made better at this hand “…but not as good as it should be.”, you offered me the use of a loaner to get home so that you and he could continue tracking down the remaining issues on Monday. More notes to self and all who read this about personal pride and professional commitment. In all respects – unparraled customer service, technical expertise, passion, and a spirit that doesn’t quit until it is right no matter the time of day (or night) – that’s a top shelf operation. Period. My thanks to you, Timmy and your team. Although I live a long ways away, I’m glad to make the trip each and every time to Convenience Car Care!

It is approximately the one year anniversary of the breakdown of my daughter’s very old VW Jetta on I-81 as she was returning to Blacksburg, VA to begin at Virginia Tech. I have wanted to formally thank you for all your prompt help in getting her car towed to a reputable car repair shop. Even though the breakdown was not attributable to any work you had done on the car, you went out of you way to calm her and me (distraught Mom). She was stranded on an extremely dangerous road, an hour and a half from home and 2 hours from her destination, knowing no one in the vicinity to help her. Your contacts took extremely good car of her. They even found her a safe place to stay until I could drive to pick her up. You definitely went more than the extra mile to help us! Because of this I want to formally thank you and all your employees for their courtesy and efficiency. Please let them know that your customers do appreciate your honest and hard work. People rarely enjoy taking their car to a repair shop because it usually means they are inconvenienced by losing their means of transportation and will be incurring an unexpected expense. I was in my truck in Manassas, running an errand before heading back, traffic was just starting to get heavy. In one of those situations where traffic was all happily accelerating, I noticed brake lights going on in front of me. I braked – and pumped the brake pedal once more before it went all the way to the floor and I crashed into the SUV in front of me. I immediately called Timmy’s shop, spoke to John, and told him what happened. While I was on the phone, John called one of their employees. Within a matter of minutes John had arranged for me to be picked up, my truck to be towed, and before I even arrived back at the shop he had a loaner car for me to use to get home. In less than an hour from the time of impact, I was on my way. I saw Timmy later – he was working late – when I returned the loaner and thanked him profusely for the excellent service his company provides. He takes wonderful care of his customers and obviously imparts that philosophy to his employees.
